About

Mireille T. Zatcha.

I was born in Cameroon, Africa and I have lived in 3 continents. This has given me an opportunity to adapt in different environments but most of all to learn about other cultures and ways of life.

Proud member of various community and professional associations, I am also a teacher by trade and I have more than 10 years of experience in this field.

Personal situations and recent events pertaining to discrimination of BIPOC happening all around the world led me to be more vocal about my activism. I participated in Black Lives Matter March in Edmonton and Fort McMurray, initiated and conducted Black History Month Celebration in my school and for the BCW in Action, and actively participated in BHM celebrations in my hometown.

I am also a certified Mediator and I am passionate about educating people and helping BIPOC facing challenges of discrimination and social injustice.
